The most important features of a reconditioned bus can be easy to spot, once you know where to look. The best place to start is by checking the undercarriage of the bus. Ensure there are no soft spots in the fl oor. Ask what state the bus was purchased from; was it in a northern state that sees a lot of salt and snow? What type of recent mechanical work has been done? Check for seams on the body where water could leak. Check the quality of brakes and tires. It is always wise to have an independent mechanic do a thorough inspection.
